kids' group ukulele lessons (NE)
Your child will learn enough songs to be the hero of the campfire after a few months at my Campfire Heroes Song School! I am a mother of two trying to supplement my income, and will be teaching group ukulele lessons for kids ages 6-10 on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. I started in group ukulele lessons when I was little, and have gone on to play guitar and banjo, and currently play banjo in a bluegrass band. The baritone ukulele is tuned the same way as the top four strings of a guitar, and baritone ukuleles look and sound much like a guitar, but are easier for little hands to hold and make chord shapes on. The children can easily transition to the guitar when they are ready. Lessons are 45-minutes per week, $50 per month. Three beginning groups are starting in April! I have been a classical pianist for 17 years, a professional accompanist for 8 years, and a music and piano teacher for the past 5 years. So you just recently received your new digital camera, now you want to figure out what all the buttons are, what the settings are, why your pictures are coming out weird colors, how to put your photos on the internet or share them with family and friends .
STUDIO 715 is happy to presents the Basic Digital Photography Class for those who are new to digital photography. This class will be taught by Frank Feliciano a certified instructor and commercial professional photographer and assisted by Wayne Denmark who is also a certified instructor and professional photographer with over 38 years of experience.
Frank will take you through the basics from understanding your camera functions to formatting your photos for print and email.
Please bring your camera AND camera manual so we can research camera specific questions or issues for you.
The lesson presentation will take about an hour and a half to two hours, then we will address questions from the participants. You will also get a chance to meet with others who are new to photography and exchange war stories.
