Responsible for various aspects of mall maintenance and operations with a focus on central plant operations and preventative maintenance:

-HVAC equipment including centrifugal chillers, closed and open loop cooling systems, cooling towers, air handlers.
-Variable frequency drive units.
-Center exhaust fans (including smoke evacuation).
-SVR room heaters (where applicable), vestibule heating systems emergency power generators,

-Electric and Diesel pump driven fire protection systems

Responsible for miscellaneous general repairs throughout the mall property

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Completing maintenance requests in a timely manner, changing locks/keys as needed, performing preventative maintenance on the interior and exterior of the buildings (pressure washing, a/c coil/filters, smoke detectors, electrical checks, etc), “turning” vacant units for new resident move-ins, any other miscellaneous tasks needed for the upkeep/maintenance of the property as deemed necessary by the property manager, being on call for after hours emergencies as needed

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate preferred. Certification in HVAC, EPA, CPO preferred. Experience should include air conditioning repair, appliance repair, pool maintenance, painting, electrical, plumbing, and roofing. Must be capable of operating standard tools. May be required to own all required tools. Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs in various forms. Must be capable of working under pressure and plan and organize efficiently. Must be able to climb stairs on a regular basis throughout the day. Must be capable of working in extreme heat and/or cold temperatures.
