I have several dozen bikes on rental and I need bike mechanics and technicians to work with flexible hours. Our shop has flexible shifts available around the clock. The shifts are reasonable from 4 hours to 8 hours no more than 15 hours a week to start. If you have at least 2 years experience working at a bike shop in the capacity as the repair person we classify you as a Mechanic, everyone else, without the bike shop experience we classify you as a technician, and start you as a technician. Once you prove yourself to be reliable as a technician we bump your pay up every 77 hours. The position requires you to operate the various styles of bikes that we have to better help us improve and upgrade our components for other drivers.

An opportunity to join our growing team has become available and we are currently seeking an experienced, professional and capable Turret Punch Press Operator. The position involves using FinnPower Turret Punch Presses to produce quality parts.

Duties
• Production and prototype punching of parts as directed by the Supervisor,
• Leading by example – ensuring that all safety, work instructions, first-off inspection, and in-process inspection procedures are always followed correctly,
• Reviewing and maintaining the condition of tooling on a regular basis, and recommending replacement or upgrades if needed,
• Working with the Product Support Team to develop manufacturing methods or work instructions for new products if needed,
• Setting up of tooling and presses, and performing first-off inspections on production jobs for Junior Operators if needed,
• Supporting workers in the department so they work safely,
• Communicating quality issues to junior operators in the department,

Required Experience:

- Experience in sheet metal fabrication
- 2-3 years of experience setting up and operating a CNC Turret Punch Press
- Must be able to demonstrate a good understand of punching theory, tool selection criteria, metal characteristics, safety standards, and quality control.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to check and approve first articles correctly.
- Initiative to take on responsibility
