The Law of the Garbage Truck !

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.

My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly.

So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!' This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you.

Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so..... 'Love the people who treat you right.. Pray for the ones who don't.'

Stop The Census - Nothing But Fraud

Millions of Americans are hot over the census. First, their homes are entered into a GPS tracking device without permission. No where in the U.S. Constitution does it authorize such a data base be complied regarding the taking of the census:

And, equally as important:

Art. 1, Sec. 9: Clause 4: No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or Enumeration herein before directed to be taken. (See Note 7) [1]

Note 7: Note 7: This Clause has been affected by amendment XVI.

There is no question the Sixteenth Amendment (XVI) was never properly ratified and is a law that never was.[2]

However, moving on from that fraud, no where do we see in Art. 1, Sec. 2, Clause 3 what we see on the official U.S. Census site or the propaganda (radio and TV commercials); I'll get to that in a moment. First, I want you to read the following excerpt from pages 41-46 of Vivien Kellems book, Toil, Taxes and Trouble, published in 1952:

"Since a capitation means a tax of the same amount for every person, this provision makes doubly sure that all federal taxes must be at the same uniform rate for everybody. This limitation that direct taxes be levied by the Federal Government must be in proportion to a census and apportioned among the States in accordance with numbers, is the only provision in the Constitution that is stated twice.

"The only reason that our Constitution required a census to be taken every ten years was to count the people to determine how many Representatives should go to Congress, and how direct taxes should be levied. I wonder how many Americans thought of this in 1950 when those little busybodies came knocking on their doors, asking ten thousand impudent, silly questions which were none of their, or Washington's, business.

"There is absolutely no power granted in the Constitution which enables a top-heavy bureaucracy of empty-headed simpletons, and worse, to invade the privacy of the American people in such a monstrous manner.

"This census is just a preview of what is really in store for us if they actually take over, which they most certainly will do unless we uproot and vote them out.

"The census was to count the people - that was all. The number of people determined the number of Representatives in Congress and the apportionment of direct taxes among the states.

"For a long time I asked myself, 'Why were Representatives and direct taxes linked together and apportioned among the States in accordance with population?' It was understandable that Representatives should be chosen in accordance with numbers but why should taxes be apportioned the same way? And then one day, out of the blue, it came to me crystal clear. All at once I understood the plan to safeguard the future freedom of the nation, conceived and executed by those scholarly men.

"I read again: 'Representatives and direct taxes shall be included within this Union, according to their respective numbers...' 'No capitation, or other direct tax shall be laid, unless in proportion to the Census of Enumeration hereinbefore directed to be taken.' And in those two sentences our forefathers bound fast the hands of Congress and secured the liberty and freedom of the American people. How? By making it utterly impossible to levy an income tax."[3]


It is for the reasons above the Sixteenth Amendment was declared ratified in 1913. The Federal Reserve Banking Act was passed at the 11th hour in December the same year. The "income tax" law to steal the fruits of our labor to enrich an international banking cartel by hijacking of our monetary system.

Have you heard the commercials? "If a school gets 100 new students and you don't fill out the census, we won't get that extra money from the federal government." How many of those students are illegal aliens who have NO right to sit in any classroom at any level of school in this country? 20? 40? Most certainly in the border states. You, me and our children and grand children are to be raped to pay for these illegals stealing our education resources. That is NOT what the census is about.

"For the past two years, Rachel Ortiz's commute to her El Paso school has begun each morning in Mexico. As the sun rises over that side of the Rio Grande, the first-grader follows her father from their cinder-block home through the streets of Ciudad Juarez.

"Aaron Ortiz holds his 6-year-old's pink backpack and later her hand. At the border they funnel onto the pedestrian bridge alongside dozens of other children with backpacks holding parents' hands. Then they are on the other side, saying goodbye at the gates of Vilas Elementary, where breakfast is served free and special classes are offered for English-language learners."

The corrupt, smarmy professional politician, Governor Rick Perry of Texas, just won his primary. Perry, along with the blessing of our state legislature has allowed sickening practice this to continue. Those kids illegally enter our country and then steal our tax dollars for "free" education and meals.

Texans: Where is your outrage? It may not bother you, but I resent the hell out of my tax dollars being used to facilitate illegals, regardless of age, coming across our national border.

This commercial makes me want to gag: If you don't fill out the census and our town needs new stop lights, our community won't get the federal money. Stand up and be counted!

Those commercials come in all flavors: Get your money now! It doesn't matter that 90% of all spending by the Outlaw Congress is illegal under the Constitution. It doesn't matter that Congress as NO authority to steal the fruits of your labor in Terra Haute, IN to send to Yakima, Washington, to install traffic lights in that city. There is some $400 BILLION "dollars" at stake. The only problem: Since there is no money in the treasury, that "money" will have to be borrowed and the interest slapped on our backs, our children and grand children will continue to grow exponentially into hundreds more billions.

It doesn't matter that YOUR congress critter's job isn't to "bring home the bacon." Americans who have no understanding of the history of this republic and too many who frankly don't care, are so used to the thieves in Washington, DC., stealing the fruits of our labor, they demand it now as some sort of right.




As the people's purse, the U.S. Treasury, is overdrawn $12.5 TRILLION "dollars" as I write this, and unfunded mandates are close to $107 TRILLION "dollars" [4] - just where do the American people think all this confetti (worthless fiat currency called "Federal" Reserve Notes) is going to come from -- like the much touted cencus bags of bux --- and how will it get repaid?

Back in 2004, Carolyn Lochhead did a superb, short piece that shook up a whole lot of people: Speeches ignore impending U.S. debt disaster / No mention of fiscal gap estimated as high as $72 trillion [5]:

"A pathbreaking study by Jagadeesh Gokhale of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and Kent Smetters, a former deputy assistant secretary at the Treasury -- commissioned by former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill -- estimated a $44 trillion fiscal gap. It laid out a few painful options on how to meet the liabilities:

More than double the payroll tax, immediately and forever, from 15.3 percent of wages to nearly 32 percent;

-- Raise income taxes by two-thirds, immediately and forever;
-- Cut Social Security and Medicare benefits by 45 percent, immediately and forever;
-- Or eliminate forever all discretionary spending, which includes the military, homeland security, highways, courts, national parks and most of what the federal government does outside of the transfer of payments to the elderly.

"Such corrective actions grow more severe each year. Waiting just until 2008, the end of the next presidency, would mean raising the payroll tax to 33. 5 percent instead of 32 percent, the study found.

"Gokhale said that fresh numbers from the Medicare trustees show the fiscal gap has since grown to $72 trillion, $10 trillion of that for Social Security and an astonishing $62 trillion for Medicare, the government health care program for the elderly. Rest at link below.

Lochhead wasn't blowing smoke when she wrote that column six years ago. Tens of millions of Americans blew their stacks back in August 2008 because they're finally coming to understand the significance of this massive and unpayable debt Congress, the usurper in the White House and his predecessors for decades have heaped upon we the people.

Remember: Right now, today, YOU are still working to pay "your fair share" to the government in taxes. You will still have to work another four months for "Uncle Sam," the International Monetary Fund, the communist UN, the World Bank, dictators throughout the world and tens of billions in foreign "aid".

I say unpayable debt because it is unpayable. The Tax Foundation came out with another reality check, March 12, 2010:

Washington, DC, March 12, 2010 -- "Federal income tax rates would have to be more than doubled across the income spectrum if Congress were to close the deficit in fiscal year 2010, according to a new report from the nonpartisan Tax Foundation. Instead of taxing joint filers with rates ranging from 10 percent to 35 percent, tax rates would have to start at 24.3 percent and reach up to 84.9 percent....

"Even in 2012, when the President's budget projects a lower deficit, tax rates would still be need to be prohibitively high in order to balance the budget, with rates ranging from 15.8 percent to 62.6 percent.

"Average tax payments would have to rise by almost $10,000 in 2010 to erase the deficit. The average tax payment of a tax filer making between $75,000 and $100,000 would increase by $11,164. Taxpayers with AGIs over $1 million would see their tax bills climb by $969, 505.

"If high-income people had to pay a federal tax rate ranging from 65 percent to 85 percent, adding on an 8 percent rate in most states plus local income taxes and payroll taxes would push tax rates close to 100 percent for some households.

"At some point, government would be taking away all earnings and there would be no incentive to work," Ahern said. "There can be little doubt that the high tax rates necessary to balance the budget in the next several years would discourage all income-producing endeavors." [6]

The whole process is a fraud

Why do I say that? Let's look at the definition of fraud: deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage.

The Constitution limits the question to only how many people live in a dwelling (House, tent, apartment, boat, whatever) for the purpose of congressional representation. It does not in any way authorize what has been the census information gathering of past decades. It is deceit and trickery. It is also to gain an unfair advantage and by this, I mean the counting of criminals (illegal aliens) who have NO right to even be in this country:

"Cities, counties and states that haven't been very kind to illegal immigrants over the years are suddenly dusting off their welcome mats. I damn near burst an artery when I read that article, which contains this quote: "It helps us build our hospitals, schools, parks, libraries," said Michael Nowakowski, vice mayor of the city of Phoenix and the point person for the census on the City Council." According to that news item, "Phoenix officials estimate every resident counted is worth about $400 in government funding."

ANY elected official who is part of this outrage is in violation of federal law: a person who aids and abets an illegal alien for financial gain can go to prison. But, wait! It gets even better:

"Keeping with the Obama Administration's mission to conduct the most diverse outreach campaign in history, the director of the U.S. Census Bureau is touring Mexican border towns with high illegal immigrant populations to personally assure that those who fill out questionnaires this spring will not be deported.

"This is a safe thing for everyone to do regardless of your immigration status," the president's handpicked census director (Robert Groves) told residents of a renowned illegal alien "colonia" in south Texas this week. He visited several dilapidated makeshift homes off of a dirt road in a Laredo neighborhood called San Carlos to stress that census data will be kept confidential and not turned over to immigration authorities.

"Even if the president of the United States asks him for their census forms, Groves told the Spanish-speaking crowd, he can refuse because the law says the forms must be kept private. If he violates that sacred law, Groves further informed the attentive illegal immigrants, he can go to prison. Besides, citizenship status is not even asked on the census questionnaire, assured the Texas congressman (Chicano rights activist Henry Cuellar) who accompanied Groves on this particular jaunt.

"The census director is also giving illegal immigrants across the country a lesson in basic civics by explaining that hundreds of billions of federal dollars are allocated to state and local governments based on population. Being included in the decennial count will in turn allow them to receive more public benefits; "We want to count you and your family can benefit from the services," Groves is telling illegal aliens.

"This marks the latest of many administration efforts to cater to illegal immigrants. A few weeks ago the government launched an unprecedented $133 million advertising campaign-in dozens of languages-to promote the census with the Spanish ads assuring the decennial count is confidential and cannot divulge respondents' immigration status.

"The never-before-seen promotional blitz includes television commercials, print and outdoor ads as well as online advertising. Hundreds of ads have been drafted in 28 languages, including two Chinese dialects, Russian, Arabic and Tagolog. The Spanish advertisements, distributed on national television and print media, are of particular interest because they guarantee the safety of illegal aliens who fill out the census forms.

"A few months ago the government announced that, in an effort to reach out to illegal aliens, it is spending $26 million to send Spanish-language questionnaires directly to homes for the first time in history. In past years, participants could request special forms in several languages-including Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese-but the effort marks the first time that the government sends to entire regions census questionnaires in a language other than English." [8]

"...most diverse outreach campaign..." Make me vomit. This has to be one of the most egregious actions by a director in the federal government, yet where is the outcry? The Director of the Census Bureau is touring in an effort to tell ILLEGAL aliens the federal government will protect them even though these thieves have NO right to even be in this country. He's telling those criminals who smuggle themselves across our borders, stealing jobs that belong to Americans and sucking our resources dry (medical, education, incarceration), that they need to be counted in our census so more of your hard earned paycheck will benefit them financially!

Will there be any outrage over this?

I called my brain dead U.S. rep in DC. His staffer said they knew nothing about this. Well, damn it -- it's their job to know. Any elected official from mayors to the Director of the Census Bureau aiding and abetting illegals in this census taking should be indicted by the Department of Justice. Should be. Demand it!

What will I do with the census form I received in the mail addressed to Resident?

I will NOT fill out the census form, but will instead, provide a cover letter stating two adults live in the house at XXXXX, Big Spring, Texas. I will respond to a constitutional requirement, but I will not surrender to some government agency because it's the path of least resistance.

Hell-Care

As a practicing physician I have major concerns with the health care bill before Congress. I actually have read the bill and am shocked by the brazenness of the government's proposed involvement in the patient-physician relationship. The very idea that the government will dictate and ration patient care is dangerous and certainly not helpful in designing a health care system that works for all. Every physician I work with agrees that we need to fix our health care system, but the proposed bills currently making their way through congress will be a disaster if passed.

I ask you respectfully and as a patriotic American to look at the following troubling lines that I have read in the bill. You cannot possibly believe that these proposals are in the best interests of the country and our fellow citizens.

Page 22 of the HC Bill:

Mandates that the Govt will audit books of all employers that self-insure!!

Page 30 Sec 123 of HC bill:

THERE WILL BE A GOVT COMMITTEE that decides what treatments/benefits you get.

Page 29 lines 4-16 in the HC bill:

YOUR HEALTH CARE IS RATIONED!!!

Page 42 of HC Bill:

The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your HC benefits for you. You have no choice!

Page 50 Section 152 in HC bill:

The problem with peoples views about each other is that the accusing side never thinks that they are the same. Too many times I hear that men are the leaders at fault for the way things are. That may be true but let me point something out. Part of my "decency" problems as a man started when I fell in love with an unfaithful woman who proceeded to cheat on me more times then I would care to know. Men go into relationships thinking a Woman wont change, Women go into a relationship thinking that the Man will Change; Both find out they were wrong. Each should take full responsibility for their own actions in order to change what they disagree with going on around them. If you want to find a good women/man, then be one worth having. Fix yourself. Regain those morals you lost. Be honest with those around you. Then maybe someone will see your worth as a loving partner. I have yet to find an honest and faithful women who loves and cares for a man as much I would for her. I am in the same boat. A draft report issued Monday evening by the Measure H Oversight Committee details what the committee says is evidence that the City Council’s fiscal year 2008-2009 expenditures of a special sales tax enacted by voters in 2005 are not consistent with the ballot measure.

Primarily, the committee is concerned with how the Transactions and use Tax money has been budgeted — and how it has been spent — on capital projects, such as buildings.

The report, compiled by eight of the committee’s members Thursday evening, will be presented to the City Council tonight at a public hearing regarding the committee’s determination of “non consistent.” The report is a “draft” because the committee hasn’t had a chance to meet to approve the final version. It is being presented tonight because the council scheduled the public hearing in anticipation of the report’s completion.

There are fives points on which the committee focuses attention on what it believes are misdirected Measure H funds, including the public safety building for which the city purchased property and which is currently has out to bid for architectural plans, the animal shelter and animal control activities, planning for a new municipal library, and funds spent on fixtures for existing buildings. The committee is also concerned that the city is charging certain payroll expenses to Measure H which may be supplanting the General Fund instead of providing over-and-above police, fire and literacy programs.

“It is a consensus of the committee that the majority of the expenditures were consistent with the ballot measure,” the report states. “[but], it appears that this Council has established a spending policy as it relates to [Measure H] that will lead to future findings of ‘non consistent’ by TUTOC.”

The report and tonight’s public hearing come nine months after the oversight committee voted­—for the first time—that the city’s spending of the sales tax revenue was inconsistent with the intent of the ballot measure, and that a report to the City Council was forthcoming. The determination should have triggered a public hearing that was only recently scheduled for tonight, after city officials said they had been waiting for the committee’s annual report, which was only recently produced.

The committee’s members said they were waiting for information, such as financial transactions and human resources information, before they could draft a complete report. They got their hands on the documents, and reviewed them, Thursday night.

“We weren’t very surprised by what we found,” Chair Greg Gillett said. “We were astonished that it’s actually happening.”

Mostly, it is the money being spent and directed towards capital improvement projects that has raised eyebrows on the committee.

In the last two years, the city spent $434,533 of Measure H money on capital projects — long-term infrastructure investments — and has allocated an additional $140,066 to be spent from this year’s budget.

The report details the committee’s concerns about plans to fund a new public safety building with Measure H money. The building would serve as the city’s third fire station in conjunction with a secondary police station. In November, the City Council authorized using $193,614 of Measure H money to purchase a five acre plot off Highway 190 and Jaye Street, upon which the building will be constructed.

“[Transactions and Use Tax Oversight Committee (TUTOC)] members have determined that the only capital building project identified in the original ballot measure and spending plan voted upon and approved by voters was a new fire station,” the report states. “Measure H funds can be used for that portion of a ‘Public Safety Building’ designed and used to fulfill the spending plan identification of a new fire station. However, other funding sources must be used for the balance of a capital building project used for police related operations.

The committee also disagrees with money being spent on animal control activities, which were services handled by Lindsay Animal Control for 15 years until they were absorbed by the Porterville Police Department almost two years ago.

Now, stray animals are handled by a unit of the Porterville Police Department. The department currently oversees the Porterville Shelter, a temporary site at 1256 W. Grand Ave. with nine kennels. In the past year, nearly 1,000 dogs have been housed there.

The City has spent $302,966 to pay for the land for a new animal shelter, and some salaries and benefits of animal control employees.

“It is impossible to find even a reasonable relationship between expenditures in any amount whatsoever toward an animal shelter,” the report states. “No such capital project was listed or otherwise identified in the ballot measure and is inconsistent with the intent of the ballot measure. The planning for, acquisition of property, and the building of facilities as well as funding operational costs for animal control activities of the city is completely inconsistent with the intent of the ballot measure.

The Oversight Committee objects to thousands of dollars of Measure H funds that were used to pay a consultant to draft plans for a new a new $25 million library. A Library Facilities Planning Commission (LFPC) was formed in December 2008 and has worked with a consultant to develop preliminary plans. To date, more than $220,000 in Measure H money has been allocated to library capital expense, including contracting with San Francisco-based Page + Moris LLC to prepare a report that outlines the basic requirements for a new library, such as its size — between 48,250 square-feet and 53,000 square-feet.

Also charged to “capital expenditures” this year and last, was $271 for food served during library planning meetings and $1,680 for charter buses to take commissioners on field trips to recently constructed libraries in California.

“The primary concern was that $88,000 of the $222,000 allotted for library consultants, and that money was spent on charter buses, dinners and snacks for the planning committee,” the report states.

Beyond capital improvement projects, the committee is also scrutinizing how the city has spent Measure H funds to pay employees who “serve a more general purpose outside of direct police an fire protection activities.”
The report notes a full time custodian who performs maintenance duties for the library, and a fire inspector who “performs general duties for the entire department and all of its personnel.”

“TUTUOC is concerned that this is a ‘slippery slope’ type of practice which will lead to supplanting of general fund activities with Measure H funds. The TUTOC is suggesting that the City Council adopt a strict policy in this regard in order to prevent future findings by TUTOC of ‘non consistent’ expenditures,” the report states.

There is also concern for Measure H money paying for remodeling and improvement project at facilities where Measure H employees work. The report cites funds used to pay for new carpet at the police station and an air conditioning unit at the library.

The report will be presented at tonight’s public hearing, which will take place at the 7 p.m. City Council meeting in City Hall, located at 291 N. Main St.

The Porterville Police, Fire and Emergency Response/9-1-1 Safety Measure proposes to raise revenue for the purpose of funding police, fire and public safety facilities, equipment and personnel, by authorizing a special transactions and use tax ("sales tax") of one-half of a cent (.50 percent), and approving an ordinance adding Article IIA to Chapter 22 of the Porterville Municipal Code. The tax would be paid in addition to the current state and local sales taxes and would be collected at the same time and in the same manner as existing sales taxes.


California Revenue and Taxation Code Section 7285.91 authorizes the City to levy or increase a transactions and use tax (i.e. "sales tax") at a rate of .25 percent or multiple thereof, for specific purposes as set forth by the City, if the ordinance proposing the tax is approved by at least two-thirds of the qualified voters of the city voting in an election on that issue. If approved by the voters, the sales tax will become effective no sooner than April 1, 2006.


The revenues raised from the sales tax will be use to hire and equip additional police officers and new firefighters. It will provide for the maintenance and expansion of patrol and gang suppression activities, the purchase of additional public safety equipment, will aid in the funding of a new fire station, and will be used to improve the 9-1-1 emergency dispatch equipment to improve emergency response time. A small portion of the revenue, not to exceed 15 percent, shall be used for the restoration and maintenance of literacy programs in the City due to the established connection between illiteracy and crime.


The sales tax increase will be subject to certain conditions included in the program guidelines plan made a part of the ordinance. Such conditions provide that the expenditures pursuant to the plan be independently audited on an annual basis, that an independent citizen’s oversight committee review the revenues from and expenditures of the special tax funds, and that findings of the auditor and oversight committee be reviewed by the City Council and made available to the public. The City Manager is required to re-certify the plan of expenditures at the time of submittal of the budget to the City Council. The City Council is prohibited from using these funds to replace General Fund dollars budgeted for normal operations at the previous year’s service levels.

A. Temporary promotional, campaign and political signs are permitted on private property in any zoned district and within the public right of way; provided, that:


1. The individual in charge of posting said signs files with the city clerk his/her name, address and telephone number and receives a copy of this section and section 2014 of this article.


2. Any such sign on a residentially zoned property with frontage on an arterial or collector street as designated by the circulation element of the general plan shall be no greater than twelve and one-half (12.5) square feet in area. Signs on residentially zoned property not fronting an arterial or collector street shall be limited to a maximum of four (4) square feet in area.


3. Any such sign exceeding thirty two (32) square feet in area shall require approval of a use permit in conformance with article 29 of this ordinance.


4. No such sign shall be posted within the public right of way in residentially zoned districts except along arterial streets and collector streets, as designated in the circulation element of the general plan. Such signs in the public right of way shall be limited to a maximum of four (4) square feet in area.


5. No such sign shall be located so as to constitute a hazard to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.


6. No such sign in the city right of way shall be attached to any pole or structure supporting a traffic control sign or device, street tree or fire hydrant.


7. No such sign shall be placed in the roadway or on the sidewalk.


8. No such signs shall be posted more than ninety (90) days preceding the date of the event or election to which the signs pertain.

B. Here's What Gay Should Be (Androphilia)

When gays came out of the closet, what I think they collectively lost as men was a connection with their fellow men—a sense of purpose and belonging among them. When homosexuality was practiced covertly, a man who preferred men was still forced to function as a man in mainstream society and was still saddled with the same expectations and pressures that other men have to negotiate. There were no special rules for homosexual males, because homosexuality was not part of a man’s public identity.

The gay community embraces everyone and doesn’t expect its men to be anything but gay and “proud” of it. There is no pressure to be a “good man” because gays aren’t held to the same standards as other men. The gay community offers a place to hide from those sometimes oppressive expectations, and from the unforgiving judgment of other men. Gay males can surround themselves with women and gays who will flatter their egos and make them feel special no matter how they behave or what they do. They only have to “be themselves,” and that’s a luxury most men don’t have.

I believe there is a place for homosexuals in a tolerant, sane society. The phenomenon of homosexuality is a historical constant. That doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s some magic gene that turns it on, but it does mean that if you have a society with a hundred people, it seems like a few are usually going to end up having homosexual tendencies. Probably more if that society has a huge surplus or if homosexuality is incorporated in some way that doesn’t slow the birth rate or encourage a cultural submissiveness that makes that society vulnerable to a more aggressive one. The causes are really irrelevant here if you’re willing to accept the simple fact that “homosexuality happens.” So if a society is not suicidal or self destructive or self-hating, if it has a set of values and interests and a collective culture it wants to protect and ideally promote—which includes placing a high value on a culture of reproduction and rearing children in a way that ensures the society’s future—it has two basic choices when it comes to dealing with homosexuality. It can either foster a culture that is inclusive of homosexuality in a way that supports that goal, or it can marginalize homosexuals leave them to hatch subversion on the fringe. If you’re smart, and this rarely happens, you pick choice A. If you’re not, you do what Christians have usually done and pick B. Modern gay culture is a by-product of marginalizing homosexuals, who “came out” in cahoots with the various forces who want to dismantle western culture—the culture that marginalized them.

The thing I have in common with many more socially conservative homosexual Christians is that we believe society needs to acknowledge that “homosexuality happens” and envision a noble role for the homosexual which encourages homosexuals to support the collective culture and mainstream family life. When homosexual men and women remained closeted and got married, or, as in some parts of Chinese history or often in the case of royal blood, they fulfilled their duty to society by having children and teaching them respect for their culture, even as they dallied on the side with men. That’s an ethically sketchy position to be in, but in some ways it worked and maintained social order. Some people, like writer Andrew Sullivan, for instance, believe that allowing same-sex marriages will allow homosexuals to assimilate sufficiently into a healthy, normal, reproductive society. But that’s an oversimplification. Homosexuals can’t have children naturally. They will never be on truly “equal” footing in that area, and if adoption is advocated as the “one true path,” that puts wealthier homosexual couples in a better situation morally—which is somewhat perverse.

When you look back to WWII you see a lot of men who served who were men first, Americans second, and they had this homosexual thing on the side. I am always happy to hear it when young androphiles ignore “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and consider joining the armed forces. I interviewed one of them and posted that interview to my web site at androphilia.com under the heading “Andro in the Army.” Androphiles serving in the armed forces are in some sense closeted but they have a profound respect for order and a desire to serve society in some way.

We have all of these young men who are probably never going to have kids or wives—why not encourage them to make some use of themselves and go into professions designed for men, or where men have a natural advantage of some kind? Some of those same professions also put a strain on heterosexual marriages and make active parenting more challenging. Law enforcement. Firefighting. Soldiers. Park rangers. Merchant marines. Pilots. Long range transportation. Even healthcare and education. Why create this socially subversive, pleasure seeking culture of self congratulatory nothingness when you can encourage these men to do something that will give them a sense of real purpose and worth? Put them to work supporting society’s infrastructure, instead of chipping away at its foundations.

I’m an advocate of holding homosexual men to the same set of expectations as other men, in the traditional sense. They should be expected to be strong and self reliant, they should be judged by their achievements and their actions, and they should be expected to have some sense of honor. They should be expected to do the right thing and take responsibility for their actions without resorting to the shirker’s response of blaming society for their personal failings. But taking it a step further, I think these men have to be inspired to serve society, to do more than just attempt to mimic the nuclear family and appear ‘normal.’ As a society it makes sense for us to promote a noble, productive ideal for homosexual men that doesn’t set them up with the natural handicap of not being able to reproduce without resorting to bizarre and often expensive arrangements which will never quite be the same as “raising your own kids.”

Gay culture shows homosexual males how to behave like clowns, how to get laughs at their own expense, or to get laughs by gossiping or insulting others. The gay community celebrates “fabulousness” and shows homosexual males how to be the center of attention, no matter what kind of attention. It shows them how to be beautiful and popular and desired in the way that high school girls want to be beautiful and popular and desired. Perhaps the only really complimentary—if fairly pathetic—role gays have traditionally played in society is helping women get dolled up so they can find a mate. “Honey, put on some lipstick and fix your hair—you’re unfuckable.” I guess one could make the argument that all of the hairdressers and makeup artists and fashion fags perform a service to society as some sort of sexual lubricant for straight people.

I think androphiles, for the most part, have far more potential. But as a society, we have to expect more of them if we hope to get it. We have to expect them to be men, ask them to be good men, and show them how they can become extraordinary men.

Ashburn later issued a written apology, but the arrest catapulted his personal life into a very public spotlight.

Ashburn defended his positions, telling Barks he was representing his district, a mostly conservative area running from Bakersfield to Visalia.

Three Porterville police officers placed on leave following an officer-involved shooting are back on duty today, after an internal affairs investigation found them within department policy.

Officer Isaiah Scaggs, 29, officer Erik Martinez, 30, and Sgt. Brian Nix, 41 — the three officers involved — were found to have acted within Porterville Police Department policy the night of Jan. 10 when Vincent Steen was shot and killed in the kitchen of the Oakmont Avenue home where he lived with his family.

Police Chief Chuck McMillan said he agreed with the findings, delivered by a three-member panel of department captains, clearing Scaggs, Martinez and Nix of any policy violations.

“Their recommendation to me, which I accepted and concur with, is that the officers’ actions were lawful, proper and in full compliance with department policies and standards,” McMillan said. “They will be returned to full duty as of today.”

The investigation was based upon statements given voluntarily the night of the shooting by the three officers, and a sole eyewitness to the original altercation and short foot pursuit.

At least two California newspapers and the openly gay mayor of West Sacramento knew anti-gay state Sen. Roy Ashburn was gay and yet they said nothing. On Wednesday, Ashburn was arrested for DUI while leaving a Sacramento gay bar in the company of as yet unidentified man.

Last summer an editor at Ashburn's hometown paper, the Bakersfield Californian, heard that a Sacramento paper was about to out him. So they called him and asked him point-blank if he is gay.
His response: "Why would that be anyone's business? Including The Californian's? "I think there are certain subjects that are simply not relevant and this is one of them. It has no bearing on the job I do." During the course of our conversation I listed several instances in which a politician's sexual orientation, or even just their sexual activity -- straight or gay -- would be relevant. If Ashburn were a staunch anti-gay activist but was secretly gay, I said, that would be a legitimate concern to his constituents. Ashburn agreed but said he didn't believe he had been such an activist. I pointed out he had voted conservatively on gay issues throughout his career. Yes, he said, but he'd done so on almost all social issues. He represents a conservative district and votes as his constituents would want him to, he said. Several political organizations have ranked Ashburn's voting record as extremely unfriendly to gays. And Ashburn did organize a "Traditional Family Values" rally in 2005 to drum up support for a state constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage.

The Californian decided that Ashburn's sexuality wasn't "relevant." The unnamed Sacramento paper apparently did too and never published. To recap: It's not relevant that a state politician with a 100% rating from an anti-gay group is gay himself. Can you fucking BELIEVE that? And it turns out that the openly gay mayor of West Sacramento has known about Ashburn for a long time.
Christopher Cabaldon, the openly gay mayor of West Sacramento told KOVR he has spotted Senator Ashburn at gay hot spots a number of times. According to Project Vote Smart, Ashburn's has consistently voted against gay rights legislation including no on recognizing out of state same-sex marriages, no on creating a state recognized Harvey Milk Day, and no on expanding anti-discrimination laws. "To live a secret life and at the same time be attacking the people who you're one of but are too ashamed to admit, that's hypocrisy," said Cabaldon to KOVR CBS 13.
That hypocrisy apparently didn't bother Mayor Cabaldon enough to actually fucking say something. And you know that if Cabaldon knew, many other queers in Sacramento knew. If I lived in West Sacramento, I'd want to have a long angry talk with my mayor.

At this moment, I'm not so interested in the detestable Roy Ashburn and his pathetic defense of "I was voting the way my constituents wanted." Because to my mind, the biggest story here isn't Ashburn's closeted homosexuality and anti-gay voting record. As we all know, that is a story we have seen a hundred times. And will see a hundred times more. The REAL story here is the media's collusion and the conspiracy of silence on the part of our own people. Folks, when you know somebody is actively working day and night to thwart the rights of your FAMILY, of your PEOPLE, you fucking say something.
