Kentucky Bar Exam Materials (Madisonville) $400

I am offering everything you need to pass the Kentucky Bar Exam for $400. This package includes all of the BarBri materials, including MBE practice questions, MBE practice tests, one large book solely on Kentucky law (Kentucky essay subjects), one large book solely on MBE law, and one mini-review. The books are used, but in good condition. I used them to pass the July 2009 bar exam, even though they are from the previous year.

I will also include my entire set of commercial MBE flashcards.

Bible Study Library (Henderson, Kentucky) $150

As a pastor I find myself needing to thin my library a bit, starting with a complete set of New Testament commentaries I purchased around ten years ago. The New International Biblical Commentary is based on the New International Version (NIV) of Scipture and offers a solid format that general readers and more serious Bible students alike can utilize. Its volumes come from such noted writers as Robert Mounce, F.F. Bruce, and Gordon Fee, to name only a few. These would be an asset especially to Sunday School teachers or small-group leaders and young pastors just starting their ministries.

Also included here are two wonderful tools edited by Dr. Spiros Zodhiates: The Complete Word Study Old and New Testament. This two-volume set gives more serious Bible students a tool for going deeper into verses and passages to unlock specific meanings of words. It is in the variety of meanings of particular words that many passages find more depth in context. Based on the King James Version (KJV) of Scripture, both volumes provide the full text of the Bible, while between lines of text specific words are marked with Strong's identification numbers. Students can then use that numbering system to research deeper meanings for those given words, either using a Strong's concordance or dictionary or the included dictionary at the back of these volumes. The biblical text here even includes references marking parallel Gospel passages as well as selected textual explanation notes at the bottom of each page.

Using the most conservative estimates, the commentaries offered here couldn't be ordered together for less than $200, making this offer that includes Zodhiates' study tools for a total of $150 a real bargain.
