All gaskets are new as well. The motor runs great but it needs a lot of other things to make it rideable. The bike will need the rims and tires replaced, rear fender, side panels, grips, exhaust, and some small items. Preventive mataince.. Try to fix stuff before it goes all the way..An lets you sittin or breaks an costs more in the long run..

1981 Honda CM 400 (Boonsboro) $750

I'm selling my 1981 Honda CM 400 C. It has 24,352 miles, and several new things- front and rear tire, brakes all around, lined gas tank, choke cable, clean carbs, valve cover and head gasket, chain and both sprockets. The cam chain tensioner bolt is partially stripped so locktite was used and has held perfectly. Also there is a small oil leak which drips onto the exhaust manifold, but haven't figured that one out yet and I haven't seen any oil loss when checking the fluid. It's an '81, so no the bike isn't in perfect mint condition, but it's one of the better Japanese bikes I've seen from the 80's. PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE. Call if you have any questions, 301-582-2694. 1989 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 (Waynesboro, Pa) $2500

Up for sale is my 89 Sportster, It started life as a 883 but now has a 1200 kit installed and PO said it also has mild cams installed...This bike has lots of after market parts on it. It has a wide glide front with a chrome fork brace and a custom cone headlight. The handle bars are I believe ten inch z-bars with all switches removed for the "cleaned up" look. Lots of chrome and quite a few extra parts to come with it...Here’s the bad...The magnets of the back of the clutch hub failed and took out the stator so it will need a new clutch hub and stator. I already removed the clutch and stator with the intentions of repairing it but money became very tight. Also the highlight still needs wired and it needs a tail light. I have a nice 2 up seat and full length rear fender that will go with the bike along with rear shocks(I have lots of extra bike parts that will go with this bike). The engine on this bike runs great and is pretty fast. 1984 Honda GL1200 Goldwing Aspencade (Levels, WV) $1500

I have a 1984 Honda GL1200 Goldwing Aspencade for sale. The bike runs great, but could use a VERY LITTLE work. The paint is a bit dull, but could possibly be shined back up with some polishing compound and a little elbow grease. The trunk gasket could use a little glue to fasten it back in place. Also, the stereo has a button that's broken, but the stereo does work. Hrm...the only other thing I can think of is that it's probably time for a set of valve cover gaskets. (1/2 hour fix) The bike easily has another season of riding left on the tires, Metzler ME880s. The battery was just replaced this past season, and the carbs were resynchronized at the same time. I'm asking 1500 for the bike, but we can negotiate some for a quick sale.

Ok heres a list of things that has been done to the bike since i owned it.
motor has been rebuilt from top to bottom and have paper work to prove it IT WOULD OF BEEN MORE IF I LET THEM TAKE MOTOR OFF THE BIKE AND PUT IT BACK ON WHICH I DID THAT SO THE COST WAS ALOT CHEAPER and it was done on 6/19/09
new radiator on 7/10/09 when i got the motor back from skip's honda
new dog bone bushings on 7/10/09
new stock skid plate which hasn't been put on the bike yet
I had to move the one cable so it would work smoothier but it doesn't hurt the bike at all

OK here is a list of what the bike does need
stearing stem bearing but the bike is rideable but it clicks when you make sharp turns
the rear brakes are thin
one tie rod end which i have two real good used ones OR you can put washiers on the stud to make the nut snug up
some of the plastic brackets are bad from the last owner Year ago which at the time he put screws in the one front finder and i zipped tied then in place so they wouldn't fly off going down the trails which the rest of the plastic is great for the yr of the bike
