He comes with all the paperwork the breeder gave us and she said he is UKC certified. All American Dachshund Rescue www.allamericandachshundrescue.org is looking for approved foster homes for the many abused/abandoned and neglected dachshunds that we get in daily. There are 100's if not 1000's of Dachshunds across the U.S that need to be rescued and need forever homes. Without foster homes we cannot take in dachshunds and many are euthanized in shelters or continue to be abused by owners or stay in puppy mills. With the down-turn of the economy it's gotten even worse. Our funds come through hard work, donations and our adoptions...all of the funds go back into rescuing, vetting, and saving the lives of all needy dachshunds. This dog just showed up at our house today. For the moment he is tied on my porch, but being picked up by the dog warden at 4pm.
He will be taken to Brooke County Animal Shelter.

He is very friendly. Has no collar, very skinny. Docked tail, white toes. I think he is pretty young. Probably under a year.
He maybe a boxer mixed with lab, or hound. Very sweet. I gave him some food and he chowed.

Shih Tzu mix for *Adoption*

I have a Shih Tzu-Brussels Griffon mix available for adoption. She is approx. 2-3 years old (possibly younger, but she has typical "Shih Tzu" teeth so it's hard to tell) and is black with a small amount of white. She is: Very sweet, good with kids/cats/dogs, house trained, crate trained, excellent in the house, etc. She was found as a stray, but she was certainly well trained before she ended up in a shelter. She is currently in a foster home waiting on her new family to find her. Ideally, she would find a home where she would not be left home alone for long periods of time and would have a fenced yard. The fence is not a requirement, but it would be a bonus as she tries to slip out the door often. Must be on flea preventative as she has an allergy (which has left her hair thin and patchy at the moment).
Adoption fee is $150 and covers spay, parvo/distemper and rabies vaccination.

Foster Home Needed!!!! Please Help!! (Wheeling, WV)

I have a pit bull mix named Nala, who needs a foster home just from May until August of this year. I have a job in Connecticut for the summer and I can't take her with me and I do not want to give her up. I'm desperate to find her somewhere to stay. I got her on October 21, 2009 from the Mon County pound in Morgantown, WV. She is up to date all all her shots and is completely house broken and crate trained she's about 45 pounds. She gets along great with cats, who she mostly just wants to play with. She also loves kids, she basically loves everyone. She is ok with most dogs. If you have a dog it would be best for them to meet before she comes to stay with you. She has a lot of energy and either needs a fenced in yard to run and play in or someone who is willing to walk her on a daily basis, she'd be a great running buddy! She is the sweetest dog I've ever had and wants nothing more than to snuggle with you on the couch or just play tug o' war. She's just a really happy dog. :) She loves to sleep in the bed with you and likes to go to the bottom of the bed under the covers and just snuggle up there.
If you are considering getting a dog this would be a great way to test it out and see how your family does.
I would pay for all her food and everything she needs and if she's sick I'll pay the vet costs. I have a crate, bowls and all kinds of toys.
Please please please help me! I don't want to put her in the pound.
