The Clinical Systems Analyst provides clinical expertise and assist in the setup, implementation, and training for clinical applications, including the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

TECHNICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

2. Reviews current practices surrounding EMR, recommending best practices.
3. Functions as a medical bridge between IS and patient care staff as it relates to clinical system implementation and maintenance.
4. Monitors the development of patient forms, easing the burden placed on clinical staff that provides support for EMR implementation and maintenance.
5. Uses clinical background, education and knowledge gained from providing patient care and knowledge of the EMR system to implement the point of care module including the development and maintenance of templates that will be used by provider to document patient care visits.
6. Provides cross training for other members of IS on clinical application functionality as well as helping to educate the IS staff on clinical processes and workflows.
7. Provides assistance in identifying causes and solution for EMR related issues.
8. Develops and documents workflows surrounding clinical applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Experience: Two to three years of practical nursing experience. Ambulatory care nursing experience preferred. Systems implementation and/or support experience is also preferred.

Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Current Washington State driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English; keen organizational skills; skills in public speaking; ability to work independently; knowledge of healthcare and systems; knowledge of established professional ambulatory care concepts, principles, and practices; ability to assess problems and develop effective solutions; displays a pleasant and courteous telephone manner; ability to work under limited supervision; ability to prioritize and execute a variety of tasks simultaneously; ability to work with frequent interruptions; proficient in common computer applications.

Cedar River Clinics Yakima is seeking a self motivated and dependable Medical Assistant. This person will work closely with Physicians, Clinic Manager and staff in our Yakima clinic. Summary of Major Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance to physicians and patients with clinical procedures.
• Perform and chart ultrasounds.
• Make referrals as indicated for counseling, pre-natal, diagnostic ultrasounds and other pregnancy related referrals.
• Review chart to become familiar with client’s health history.
• Evaluate and chart appropriate procedure for client based on gestation and health background.

• Relay pertinent information to Coordinator regarding status of client.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES
- Accepts written prescription or refill information from customers; confirms completeness of patients records and requests missing information as appropriate; and retrieves customers' pharmacy records for verification.
- Accesses the pharmacy computer to obtain complete patient records (on both cash and third party prescriptions) and verifies third party plan parameters.
- Orders product from distribution center or other appropriate source as necessary.
- Stocks pharmacy product orders to specific bay locations.
- In pharmacies with a cash register:
- Operates customer sales register by processing individual customer purchases over the scanner or utilizing a scan gun; accurately reads and records prices for items which will not scan.
- Totals customer orders; collects cash, checks, credit cards, gift certificates, and coupons from customer; and enters amount and type of payment in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
- Accurately counts out appropriate change to customers.
- Bags all product; affixes the receipt to the bag; and places company stickers on items which are not in bags.
- Participates in the hiring and interviewing process for technicians
- Follows company housekeeping standards

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
- Exposure to compounding chemicals.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
